Montessori Learning:

Group Sizes

The Infants room the ratio is 4 infants to one adult class licensed for 8 infants, one teacher and one assistant teacher. We enroll 15 Toddlers in our Toddler room with one Montessori trained teacher and two assistant teachers. Our Preschool room has 20 children with one Montessori trained teacher and one assistant teacher. The PreK/Kindergarten classroom has 20 children, one Montessori trained teacher and one assistant teacher, per classroom.

With our year round schedules, we have full day and part day programs. Our full day schedule includes drop off and pick up any time between 7am and 6pm. Part day schedule is from 8:30am to 11:30am. We are closed on all legal holidays, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and two days for teacher workshops (which are the Friday before Labor Day and Presidents Day).

As Prachi begins her journey through the elementary school system, we can't help but reminisce about her last two and half years at Eden Prairie Montessori.
It is at EPM that Prachi learned,
.......the difference between good and bad
.......her phonics and how to read
.......her numbers and how to play with them
.......her social skills and her first hay ride
.......her basic knowledge of flowers, butterflies and sea animals
.......that there is a world beyond daddy and mummy
and, above all, how to deal with Minnesota winter.
EPM was more than a "second home" for Prachi. Till the very last day, she wasn't willing to trade even a single minute at EPM for anything else in this world. As parents, we felt the same way. None of the above would have been possible without your deep sense of commitment, hard work and immense patience in dealing with these children. Day in and day out, you do an amazing job and, we are so lucky to have been part of this system. We are truly indebted to you and we thank you for everything you have done for Prachi. Thank you for all of your support since I first walked into the doors of Eden Prairie Montessori learning center. Yoli learned a tremendous amount in the months she was with you and became very attached to the staff.
